Writings of Porphyry Ivanov. A Hymn to God.

A Hymn to God.

Translation of the Meanings.

These people trusted Jesus as God,

But He came to us as the God of the Earth.

He shall banish death for all times,
And into the glory bring life.
He shall banish death for all times,
And into the glory bring life.

When people on the high place commence

A work given by God, they will say with one voice,

“It is our Paradise place.
“To God all the glory belongs!”
“It is our Paradise place.
“To God all the glory belongs!”

These people trusted Jesus as God,

But He came to us as the God of the Earth.

He shall banish death for all times,
And into the glory bring life.
He shall banish death for all times,
And into the glory bring life.

When people on the high place commence

A work given by God, they will say with one voice,

“It is our Paradise place.
“To God all the glory belongs!”
“It is our Paradise place.
“To God all the glory belongs!”

¹)Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him, attached very great importance to this hymn, saying, “My idea is hymn to the Lord of life.” (Let us remember that it was prohibited to spread religion in the Soviet Union, and the God of the Earth often spoke and wrote in parables.) He asked to start telling about him from the hymn; and here are his other words, “Today everything is in the hymn. It must sound throughout the whole world. Peace upon all the earth.”

He also said that he sings the hymn continually, and that there is a secret in the hymn, which must be unclosed; and the author of this publication made its translation of the meanings according to his comprehension of the deeds and sayings of Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him.

The hill mentioned in the hymn is situated near Orekhovka village, in the Luhansk region of Ukraine, where Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him, was born, and he attached great importance to this place. He said that a new life will begin on it; and he also said that a new life will be brought to people through the one who will come after him.

One of the works, where Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him, wrote about this hill, is the article “Nadya suffered from disease...” (“Надя много лѣтъ страдала...”).

The hymn corresponds to the words of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, saying, “Allah will bring out from concealment al-Mahdi from my family and just before the day of Judgment; even if only one day were to remain in the life of the world, and he will spread on this earth justice and equity and will eradicate tyranny and oppression.” (Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal, volume 1, page 99.) And he said that the Mahdi, in the beginning of his mission, will be recognized near the Holy Kaaba.

Here is the literal translation of the hymn:

(These) people trusted Jesus as God,
But He came Himself to us on the Earth.
(He) shall drive death out as such,
And into the glory bring life.

On this hill, where people will commence,
They will loudly say a word,
“It is our Paradise place.
“To (this) man the glory immortal belongs!”

When writing the translation of the meanings, the words “He came Himself to us on the Earth” were replaced with the words “He came to us as the God of the Earth”, and it means that Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him, is he who was spoken through the prophet Isaiah (the Book of the Prophet Isaiah, chapter 54, verse 5) and the apostle John (the Revelation to Saint John, chapter 1, verses 12 ‒ 15), peace be upon them; the words “this hill” were replaced with the words “the high place”, what means the Sacred Mosque, where, in its central courtyard, the Holy Kaaba is situated — the word “kaaba” in Arabic literally means a high place with respect and prestige; and the word “man” was replaced with the word “God” — the same is in the article “The Untruth” (“Неправда”), where the words “the good man of sense” mean “our All-Merciful God”.
