Writings of Porphyry Ivanov.

Porphyry Ivanov.

“Glory Be to God!” Hymn.

Translation of the Meanings.

These people trusted in Christ as in God,
But He sent to us the God of the Earth.
He shall banish death as such,
And bring glory to life.
He shall banish death as such,
And bring glory to life.

When people begin on this hill,
They’ll loudly say a word,
“It is our paradise place.
Glory be to God!
“It is our paradise place.
Glory be to God!”

These people trusted in Christ as in God,
But He sent to us the God of the Earth.
He shall banish death as such,
And bring glory to life.
He shall banish death as such,
And bring glory to life.

When people begin on this hill,
They’ll loudly say a word,
“It is our paradise place.
Glory be to God!
“It is our paradise place.
Glory be to God!”

Porphyry Ivanov.

“Glory Be to the Lord of Life!” Hymn.

Literal Translation.

These people trusted in the Lord Jesus as in God,
But He came Himself to us on the Earth.
(But He came to us as the God of the Earth.)
He shall banish death as such,
And bring glory to life.
He shall banish death as such,
And bring glory to life.

Where people will begin, on this hill,
(When people begin on this hill,)
They’ll loudly say a word,
“This is our paradise place.
The immortal glory be to this man!
“This is our paradise place.
The immortal glory be to this man!”

These people trusted in the Lord Jesus as in God,
But He came Himself to us on the Earth.
(But He came to us as the God of the Earth.)
He shall banish death as such,
And bring glory to life.
He shall banish death as such,
And bring glory to life.

Where people will begin, on this hill,
(When people begin on this hill,)
They’ll loudly say a word,
“This is our paradise place.
The immortal glory be to this man!
“This is our paradise place.
The immortal glory be to this man!”

Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him, attached very great importance to this hymn, saying, “My idea is hymn to the Lord of life.” (Let us remember that it was prohibited to spread religion in the Soviet Union, and the God of the Earth often spoke and wrote in parables.) He asked to start telling about him from the hymn; and here are other words of him, “Today everything is in the hymn. It must sound throughout the whole world. Peace upon all the earth.”

He also said that he sings the hymn continually, and that there is a secret in it, which must be unclosed; and the author of this publication translated the hymn according to his comprehension of the deeds and sayings of Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him.

The hill mentioned in the hymn is situated near Orekhovka village, in the Luhansk region of Ukraine, where Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him, was born, and he attached great importance to this place. He said that a new life will begin on it; and he also said that a new life will be brought to people through the one who will come after him.

One of the works, where Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him, wrote about this hill, is the article “Nadya suffered from disease...” (“Надя много лѣтъ страдала...”).

The hymn corresponds to words of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, saying, “Allah will bring out from concealment al-Mahdi from my family and just before the day of Judgment; even if only one day were to remain in the life of the world, and he will spread on this earth justice and equity and will eradicate tyranny and oppression.” (Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal, volume 1, page 99.) And he said that the Mahdi, in the beginning of his mission, will be recognized near the Holy Kaaba.

The Holy Kaaba is situated on the central courtyard of the Sacred Mosque; and the word “kaaba” in Arabic literally means a high place with respect and prestige.

When translating, the phrase “He came Himself to us on the Earth” was interpreted as “He sent to us the God of the Earth”, and it means that Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him, is he who was spoken through the prophet Isaiah (the Book of the Prophet Isaiah, chapter 54, verse 5) and the apostle John (the Revelation to Saint John, chapter 1, verses 12—15), peace be upon them; and the words “this man” were replaced with the word “God”—the same is in the article “The Untruth” (“Неправда”), where the words “the good man of sense” mean God, glory be to Him.

The words “this hill” mean the high place, which is the central courtyard of the Sacred Mosque, where the Holy Kaaba is situated. And it is clear that the words “these people” mean the Christians.
