Commentary to the song “LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL”.

This song is one of those songs where Vladimir Vysotsky wrote about the awaiting us Judgment. As the epigraph to it, there can be used the words of Por­phy­ry Ivanov, peace be upon him, from his work “Man will be a person of easy temper...”:

The people will love each other, there will be no more war. That is what shall we achieve in Nature.

Both songs — “The Last Cheater” and “The Final Song” — were performed by Nikolay Gubenko in the film “The Last Cheater” (1966).
