Commentary to “A Song about the New Time”.

When writing this commentary and a number of other ones, there were used commentaries from the collected works in four volumes “Vladimir Vysotsky”, published in Saint Petersburg in 1993, and commentaries from the collected works in eleven volumes “Vladimir Vysotsky”, published in Saint Petersburg in 2012, sev­er­al com­men­tar­ies were taken from the Internet.

The song was written in 1966, its fragments were used in the films “War Under the Roofs” (1967) and “Brief Encounters” (1967).
