Poems and Songs of Vladimir Vysotsky. Dear Fellows Scientists.

Commentary to “The Physical Students’ March”.

As the epigraph to this march, it can be used the stanza from Vladimir Vysotsky’s song “The brains are struck and boil in every cell...”, which is mentioned in the commentary to the song “Tumen Oil” (this text is adapted from Tamara Vardomskaya’s translation):

The brains are struck and boil in every cell,
All space is filled with cracks and deformations,
For devils have settled to build a Heaven in Hell,
To benefit their future generations.

The march was written in 1964 for the unfulfilled performance of the experimental youth theater-studio in Dubna on Maxim Sagalovich’s play “The Quiet Physicists”.
