Poems and Songs of Vladimir Vysotsky. Life Is Twisted.
Commentary to “A Song about the Transmigration of Souls”.
As the epigraph to this song, there can be used the words of Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him: “The most important is into what thou wilt turn later on.”
Vladimir Vysotsky said that after writing this song he, when seeing a cat, thought that it, maybe, was a woman of easy virtue. And, perhaps, dogs are those who marched under the six-color flag.
