Commentary to “The Motorist’s Song”.

Here are two lines from the beginning:

And, having broken the traffic laws, I entered An alien to our nature world.

This song calls to mind the words of Porphyry Ivanov, peace be upon him, from his article “How to Get Rid of Diseases and Become Healthy”: “Man did not want to live in Nature, sur­round­ed by air, water and earth, and began to create artificial conditions for his life.”

The song was written in 1971.
